“Upon visiting Susan Stone, I was informed of Brian's passing when I asked how he was. Brian also did carpentry work for me 2 houses north of Susan. Also, kind of funny but I was taking Belly Dancing with his Mother at Ridgeville Park District and didn't know it until he told me she knew me. Wendy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Brian was a very pleasant person, his work was exceptional even though he was a little costlier than we could afford but made it work because we liked him.”

“Jay and I offer our deepest sympathies to Wendy and the whole family. Brian started working for us in 1979! We were just getting married. After that we moved to Evanston and he did fabulous carpentry work on our house many times. We referred him to others, and helped him start out. We admired his skill, his kindness, his integrity and his love of schmoozing! You had a wonderful father and husband. May his memory be a blessing. Love, susan stone/Jay Levy”

“Brian worked on our windows, several times, here at our Evanston home. He was here fairly frequently for a short stretch due to the inherent defects in the windows. He was always very, very kind and polite. He was a very chatty fellow. One couldn't help but like him, consequently, my wife and I liked him tremendously. I was shocked to learn of his passing, from my wife. Just based on my fairly limited exposure to Brian, he will be missed. תנחומים כנים”
