She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Sims; her son-in-law Jeffrey Zander; her parents, Samuel Firestein and Rose Firestein; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Levin (late Lloyd).
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Sims of Benji, Steven Sims (Barry Mann), Teri Odzer (David) and Micky Janczak (Joel); her grandchildren, Jeremy, Kyle Sims, Adam, Chad Zander, Luke and Max Janczak; her sister Sherry Firestein (Diane); and her nieces and nephews, Kira, Kai Scarangella, Brad (Allison), Marc and Fred Levin (Cindy).
