He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Evitts and Cressie Evitts (Jackson); his wife Pauline Evitts; and his brothers, Jay Evitts, Leo Evitts, Whitnel Evitts and Walter Evitts.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Wilson of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Chris Evitts (Donna) of Carterville, IL, Chelle Kirby (Paschal) of Fort Worth, TX and Brian Evitts (April) of Henderson, NC; his great grandchildren, Casey Evitts, Alex Evitts, Kate Evitts of Carterville, IL, Lexi Ashbrook (Jeremiah) of Bloomindale, MI, Erica, Kelsey Evitts of Henderson, N. C., Peyton and Madison Kirby of Fort Worth, TX; and his great great grandchildren, Arion Evitts, Rowan Evitts and Theo Ashbrook. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
