She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Elmo and Juanita May Edwards (Deeter); her significant other Ronald L. Mitchell; and her siblings, Elmo Edwards and LaVerta Springer.

She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Teri Mitchell), Jeff (Barb Mitchell), Chris (JoNita Mitchell) and Shawn (Cindy Mitchell). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First United Presbyterian Church, Moline, or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
