William Leo Paxton Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Leo Paxton Sr. of Silvis, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Leo and Lois Irene Paxton (Crane); and his son Christopher Paxton. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Osborn; his children, Bill Paxton, Jr. (Tracie), Nathen Paxton (Jennifer) and Rebecca Ellis (Chuck); and his brother Donald Paxton (Jeannie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
