It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert G. Papoccia of Silvis, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Papoccia and Josephine Papoccia (Tominello); and his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Ruth Griffin. He is survived by: his friend Linda; his wife Linda Griffin of Silvis; his children, Rob Papoccia (Julie) of Greencastle, Indiana and Amy of Elmhurst; his granddaughter Ella; and his brother Peter Papoccia (Carmen) of Rock Falls. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established at a later date.
