She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stribley and Ona Wanda Stribley (Sammon); and her husband Bob. She is survived by: her children, Jim Ries (Deb) of Lake Elmo, MN, Johnna Anderson (Tom) of Cordova, IL and Sue Propst (Chris) of Covington, KY; her grandchildren, Amanda Mitton (Pat), Kirsten Flyger (Austin), Jake Anderson (Sarah), Michael Ries (Jessica) and Christopher Propst (Violet); and her great grandchildren, Mason Mitton, Jamison, Colton Ries, Savannah, Maverick Anderson, Norah and Naomi Flyger.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Niabi Zoo Enrichment Program or The Battle Within Foundation.
