He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Carlson and Jesse Scott; and his grandfather Jim. He is survived by: his spouse Clevelyn "Cleve" Mary Rigdon; his son Troy Scott (Heather); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Joshua (Stephanie), Elana, McKennah and Aleanah; and his children, James K. Scott and Laurie York (Chuck).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schroder Mortuary - Silvis (701 1st Ave, Silvis, IL 61282). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Walk World Outreach Center (1450 Avenue of the Cities, Silvis, IL 61282). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Riverside Cemetery (3400 5th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or American Cancer Society.
