He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Bowen and Mary Bowen (Fisk). He is survived by: his son Charles Bowen of Moline. He is also survived by sister and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
