With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elsie M. Ringier of Silvis, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franc Hartmann and Emma Markwart Hartmann; her granddaughters, Amanda Colmer, Amber Ringier and Tabatha Dickinson; her great grandchild Victoria Eastman; and her son-in-law Matthew R. Smith Sr..
She is survived by: her children, John Jr. Ringier (Kris) of East Moline, Cindy Colmer (Bruce) of Coal Valley, Susan Ringier of East Moline, Amy Smith of Silvis, Jenelle Anderson of Colona and Larry Ringier (Lorie) of East Moline; her grandchildren, Michelle Soy (Chris), Larry Ringier, Cory Ringier, David Ringier (Nicke), Erin Schatteman (Josh), Sarah Larson (Jake), Adam Colmer (Christine), Travis Nelson, Matthew Smith (Trisha), Vanessa Whitworth (Tony), Dylan Anderson (Stephanie), Elizabeth Anderson (Tyler Younkin) and Larry Dickinson; and her stepgrandchildren, Heather, Sarah and Eric. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schroder Mortuary - Silvis (701 1st Ave, Silvis, IL 61282). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
