He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cypert; his sons, Dan Jr. Thorngren (Melissa), Paul Thorngren (Melinda) and David Thorngren (Leslie); his grandchildren, Dr. Dan Thorngren III (Amanda), Joseph Thorngren, Jordan Thorngren, Kyle Thorngren, Cassandra Scott (Connor), Emily Thorngren (Nick) and Paul K. Thorngren (Baylie); and his great grandchild Beau.
