He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cruse and Iris Sleyster Cruse; his wife Phyllis "Jean" McCorkle; his brothers, Bobby and Bennie; and his son Kenn Cruse.
He is survived by: his son Frank Cruse (Becky) of East Moline; his grandchildren, Chad Cruse (Melissa), Crystal Farrow (Scott), Laura Randa (Mark) and Ashley Pontereo (Romeo); and his great grandchildren, Derek, Braden, Addison Cruse, Payton, Kyler Farrow, Ethan, Isabelle Randa and RJ Pontereo.
