We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2021, at the age of 81, Marilyn Joan Kaufman of Sigel, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Reiss and Mary Reiss (Laux); and her sister-in-law Barbara Reiss. She is survived by: her husband Wilbert Kaufman of Sigel; her daughters, Diane Anderson (James) of Hayti, SD, Carol Ann Schank (Mark) of Tolono and Donna Kaufman of Tolono; her grandchildren, Michael Anderson (Dani), Alexandria Anderson, Martin Schank (Leona), Kyle Buhr and Leah Buhr; and her siblings, Leon Reiss (late Barbara), Norma Jean Major (Jerry) and Donald Reiss (Sue). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
