He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Probst and Ambrose Probst; his nephew Tommy Ordner; and his grandson Matthew Probst Miller. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Ann Voris; his children, Sarah Probst Miller (Matt) of Monticello, IL, Molly Probst Bravo (Ivan) of Doha, Qatar, Emily Probst Miller (Todd) of Atlanta, GA, Ted Probst (Mandy) of Sigel, IL and Lucy Lee (Kerris) of Village; and his siblings, Betty Boos of Effingham, IL, Mary Margaret Bubash of Waterloo, IL, Ambrose John Probst of Hinesville, GA, Susan Ordner (Tom) of Sigel, IL, Sharon Lamar (Steve) of Swan Valley, MT and Angie Esker (Joe) of Teutopolis, IL.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael School's building fund.
