It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy H. Schumacher of Sigel, Illinois, born in Teutopolis, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pruemer and Gertrude Pruemer (Hartke); her husband Harold Schumacher; her granddaughter Carrie Schumacher; her brother Arthur Pruemer; and her parents-in-law, Joe, Rosella Pruemer, Lorraine, Tom Althoff, John Hoene, Lawrence Apke, Bernie Pruemer and Patty Pruemer.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Schumacher (Sherri) of Carbondale, Bob Schumacher (Becky) of Hobe Sound, FL, Lois Hoene (Henry) of Effingham, Allen Schumacher (Karla) of Sigel, Larry Schumacher (Cheryl) of Austin, TX, Carl Schumacher (Linda) of Sigel and Greg Schumacher (Jane) of Teutopolis; her siblings, Ruth Hoene, Norma Jean Apke, Mary Ellen Kremer (John) and Larry Pruemer; and her sister-in-law Alice Pruemer. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
