He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Bushur and Rosa Bushur (Verdeyen); his siblings, Harold, Hilma Goeckner (Virgil) and Louise Niebrugge (Martin); his siblings-in-law, Jim Waldhoff (Anna Mae) and Rosemary Bushur; his son-in-law Greg Bierman; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Helen Waldhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae of Sigel; his children, David of Sigel, Alan (Vicki Sartori) of Fenton, MO, Ted (Claudia) of Doral, FL and Cindy Bierman of Raymond; his brother Leonard "Lennie" of Effingham; his siblings-in-law, Bernie Waldhoff (Mary) of Teutopolis, Larry Waldhoff (Barbara) of Effingham, Bertha Bushur of Effingham and Ruth Brummer (Gene) of Dieterich; and his grandchildren, James Bierman, Kelsey Rutherford (Marcus), Trina, Trisha, Traci, Troy Bushur, Lucas and Ryan Bushur. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial donations may be given to the St. Michael School.
