He is survived by: his children, Joseph Ludwig of Margate, FL, Mary Henson of Iuka, Rita Reyes of Media, PA, Susan Zakutansky (Philip) of Effingham, Jane Shannon (Steve) of Port Orange, FL, Steven Ludwig (Lori) of Sigel, Margaret Leitzinger (Kevin) of Oakdale, CT, Richard Ludwig (Linda) of Wheeler and Karen Welch (Ed) of Norwich, CT; and his brother James Ludwig of Sigel. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Michael School.
