With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Swinford of Sidney, Illinois, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gerstner and Magdalene Gerstner (Billinger); her husband Albert Dale Swinford; her son-in-law Raymond Luts; and her siblings, Neva, Ambrose, Vern, Bobby, Virgil, Mike and Ted.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Dale Swinford (Deborah) of Phoenix, AZ, Cheryl Ann Luts (Ray) of Battle Creek, MI, Debra Marie Bell of The Villages, FL and Douglas Michael Swinford (Lynne) of St. Joseph; and her siblings, Rudy, Ed and Andrea. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty- seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Catholic School in Philo.
