He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Ford and Lucille Ford (Clarkson); his son Joe Allen Ford Jr.; and his siblings, George, Ray Ford and Grace Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Lehmann of Milford; his children, Jeff Ford (Debbie) of Sidell and Julie Myers of Covington, Indiana.; his grandchildren, James Ford (Jenna) of Edwardsville, Illinois, Nathan Ford (Kali) of Allerton, Illinois, Nathalee Norman (Grant) of Hume and Kylie Myers of Covington, Indiana.; his great grandchildren, Allie, Nolan Ford, Maclin Ford, Hadley, Greyson and Gentry Norman; his daughter-in-law Cindy Warren (Phil); and his brother John Ford of Sidell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sidell United Methodist Church (202 S Chicago St, Sidell, IL 61876). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Kidney Fund, Gideons International, or Sidell United Methodist Church.
