He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Edward and Mary V. Sheehan (Hunk); his brothers, Anthony Sheehan, John Sheehan and William Sheehan; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Sheehan and Lucille Sheehan.
He is survived by: his wife Mardell Sheehan of Shumway, Illinois; his children, Joe Stodden (Linda) of Sigel, Warren Stodden of Memphis, Stan Stodden (Tonya) of Mason, Todd Flack (Cori) of Roanoke, Tammy Wheeler (Randy) of Cisne, Mary Flack (Robin) of Altamont, Mark Flack (Joni) of Altamont and Matthew Flack (Amanda) of Fort Gordon; his brothers, Paul Sheehan of Effingham and Jim Sheehan (Patty) of Danville, Illinois; his sisters-in-law, Pat Sheehan of Mattoon, Louise Sheehan of Teutopolis and Carol Sheehan of Teutopolis, Illinois; and his pet Emma. He is also survived by Twenty three grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
