It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Charles Kirchhofer of Shumway, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kirchhofer and Anna Louise Kirchhofer; his wife Sandra; his siblings, Walter Kirchhofer, Gene Kirchhofer, Frieda Ruff and Marie Ciofalo; and his close friend Linda Scheiber.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda Bridges (Russ) of Stewardson, Sheryl Kirchhofer of Dublin, Rhonda Fisher (Dan) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Jeff Kirchhofer of Shumway; his sister Grace Boldt of Effingham; his sister-in-law Margaret Kirchhofer of Effingham; and his grandchildren, Sandy Hoene (Brad) of Stewardson, Jared Bridges (Shannon) of Macon, Paul Bridges (Amber Conder) of Stewardson and Rebecca Fisher of Largo.
