He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kirchhofer and Augusta Kirchhofer (Stuckemeyer); and his siblings, Clarence, Art, Ervin, Don and Edna.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Kopplin; his brother Bill; his children, Stanley of Shumway, Darwin (Linda) of Shumway, Joy Ealy of Shumway and Patrick of Peoria; and his grandchildren, Brent (Christie), Brian (Whitney), Sarah, Chad (MaKayla), Robert Ealy (Kala), Michael Ealy (Lauren) and Brigette Luchtefeld (Zach).
Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Shumway or the Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.
