She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Cohea and Lena Cohea (Grupe); her daughter Brenda Marcielle Buzzard; her grandsons, John Buzzard and Cody Calvert; and her sisters, Velma, Arvella, Winnijean, Mildred, Betty and Lucille.
She is survived by: her children, Alta Lucille Florey of Beecher City, IL, Wendy Lee Calvert (Jay) of Otsego, MI, Laura Lynne Higgins of Columbus, OH and Merrill Matson of Carbondale, IL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Lois's name to the American Diabetes Association.
