It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Marie Herrmann (Shumway, Illinois), born in La Harpe, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Polson and Catherine Polson (McDonald); her granddaughter Amada; and her sisters, Martha Blough and Sandy Embry.
She is survived by: her husband Gail Herrmann of Shumway; her children, Aaron Myers (Cayla) of Dieterich, Jeremy Ford of Decatur and Kortney Cooper (Brian) of Shumway; her grandchildren, Bryonna, Cali Rae, Brody, Gavin, Edee and Huxley; and her sister Karen Mahaffey of Beecher City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Relay for Life of Effingham County.
