He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Vonderheide and Caroline Vonderheide (Laux); his wife Shary Grace Vonderheide; his daughter-in-law Tina Vonderheide; and his grandson Garrett Leon Vonderheide.
He is survived by: his children, Geannine Kessler (Allen) of Shumway, Tracy Vonderheide (Sharon) of Shumway and Spencer Vonderheide (Aimee) of Fresno, CA; his grandchildren, Dirk Kessler (Leslie), Trenten Kessler (Amanda), Shauna Curry (Brent), Kassaundra Slifer (Elijah) and Christian Vonderheide (Ashlynn); his great grandchildren, Ryker, Jagger, Denver Curry, Knox, Gemma Kessler, Samson, Harrison Slifer and Hadley Vonderheide; his close friend Becky Springer; and his siblings, Lorrain "Bud" Vonderheide (Shirley) of Stewardson and Rosemary Vonderheide of Stewardson.
