He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hankins and Imogene Hankins; his wife Evelyn Donsbach; his brothers, Charles Hankins of Shumway and Louis Hankins of Shumway; and his son-in-law Jim Niebrugge of Effingham.
He is survived by: his children, David Hankins (Sharon) of Eva, TN, Doug Hankins (Nancy) of Altamont, Danny Hankins of Lake Sara, Linda Niebrugge of Lake Sara and Dwane Hankins of Ocala, FL; and his sister Irene Barnick of Monticello. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
