He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Markley and Homer Markley; his brothers, Robert Markley (late Larrian), Donald "Denny" Markley (late Carol) and Michael Markley; and his brother-in-law James "Jim" Surges.

He is survived by: his spouse Lorrie (Lorraine); his children, Cindy Bada (John) of Las Vegas, NV, Stephen Markley (Paula) and William Markley, Jr. (Sharry); his grandchildren, Becky DeMarco (Conan), Matt Bada, Mary Groseclose (Kurtis) and Dillion Markley; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Emaleigh, Mackenzie, Madeline, Jameson and Avery; his siblings, Dr. John Markley (Carol), Thomas Markley (Jeanne), Loral Livingston, Trudy Surges and Mary Minnito (Frank); and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary and Diane Markley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
