He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sterr; his mother Patricia Ann Sterr; his siblings, Kelly Ruettiger (Timothy), Jeff Sterr (Julie), Patrick Sterr and Craig Sterr (Deborah); his nieces and nephews, Patrick Sterr, Jamie Hopkins (Sean), Jessica Dillingham (Matt), Scott Stachulak, John Churchwell (Kristina), Kaitlyn Sterr, Jennifer Swedko (Ryan), Billy Spindler (Alison), Michael Jurek (Melissa), Tiffany Jurek, Kevin Jurek (Nichole), Keith Jurek (Caryn), Nicole Sterr, Shannon Sterr, Daniel Ruettiger, Jacob Ruettiger, Maggie Dooley (Kyle), Jeremiah "Jeremy" Sterr and Kylie Sterr; and also Rita Sterr.
