He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Stanish (Chapla) and Stanley Stanish. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Stanish (Benco); his children, Kathy Kucharz (Joe), Carol Pyzik (Casey) and Ken Stanish (Sue); and his grandchildren, Kristyn and Kyle Kucharz.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
