We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024, at the age of 71, Roy D. McAlister of Shorewood, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cynthia McAlister; his children, Rob McAlister (Erica), Phil McAlister (Kristin) and Erin Ferroni (Chris); his parents, Florence McAlister and Robert McAlister; his grandchildren, Anna, Ryan and Charlie McAlister; his sister Roberta Manley (Brian); his niece Melissa; and his nephew Justin Manley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steuerle Chapel (350 Ardmore Ave, Villa Park, IL 60181). A prayer will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (1025 E Madison St, Lombard, IL 60148). A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
