He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Francis W, Evelyn M Sloan, Bertram and Beatrice Wenstrup; his aunts, Maureen Malone (Robert) and Betty Borman; his cousin Michael Borman; his uncle Francis Sloan; his cousin Jesse Thiry; and his mother-in-law Bonnie Olberg.
He is survived by: his parents, Michael "Mick" Sloan and Patricia Sloan (Wenstrup); his wife Kristen (Olberg); his son Theopolies; his granddaughter Violet Senorina Hernandez; his parents-in-law, Melvin Olberg (Diane) and Lorna Gowler; his brothers, Michael of Joliet, IL, Kenneth (Eileen) of Evergreen, CO and David of Joliet, IL; his siblings-in-law, Jason Olberg (Christine) of Mt Prospect, IL, Kelley Gibbons (Michael), Kathleen Olberg, James Gowler (Danielle), Anna Molitor (Eric), Carol Bouse and Carter Olberg; his nieces, Meghan Brunet (George) and Mallory Sunderhuse (Mitchell); and his aunt Laura Jean. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephew and many many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (324 E State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A prayer was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (1891 Kaneville Rd, Geneva, IL 60134).
