Robert D. Peterson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert D. Peterson of Shorewood, Illinois, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on March 14, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin P. Peterson and Virginia M. Peterson; and his siblings, Martin "Pete" R. Peterson and Margaret A. Dresser. He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. Peterson; his children, Lori Thompson (Kurt), Bradley Peterson (Mary) and Melanie Cruz-Perez (Ray); his grandchildren, Alyssa Thompson, Krysta Gowen (Steve), Kaylee Scott (Braylen), Brenden Cruz-Perez, Bryce Cruz-Perez, Veronica Peterson and Liam Peterson; and his great grandchildren, Landon and Madelyn Gowen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
