Martis of Shorewood, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Martis and Catherine Martis (Kasky); and his siblings, Frances Donoffri, Lucille Brosofske and Leonard Martis.
He is survived by: his children, Joel Martis of Shorewood, Debbie Gernenz of Inman, SC, Keith Martis of Joliet and Kathy Martis (Mark Dehaven) of Westfield, IN; his grandchildren, Angela Gennett of Longwood, FL, Steven Gernenz (Belinda) of Rutherfordton, NC, Nicole Decker (Jerry) of Elgin and Chris Martis (Jami Miller) of Joliet; and also, Madyson Gennett, Blake Wallers, Austin Wallers, Jaxon Martis, Angel Santiago and Chris Santiago.
