He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Parks and Mary Parks (Brownfield); his stepparents, Paul and Betty Magnuson; his brother Rodney Parks; his grandmother Cornelia Parks; and his brother-in-law Richard J. Fahrner.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fahrner Parks; his children, Jennifer Parks, Matthew Parks (Amy), Emily Parks-Vernizzi (Graziano) and Patrick Parks (Roslin); his grandchildren, Ashley, Grace, Julia Parks, Luca Vernizzi, William, Evelyn and Adeline Parks; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Parks, Susan Coen and David Coen; and his stepsiblings, Patricia Franzen, Barbara Howell and William Bryant. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
