It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew R. Bender of Shorewood, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matthew R. Bender to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his parents, Sharon and Roman; his sisters, Molly Bender and Kristen Beth Offenbecher (Alan); his nephew Samuel; and his niece Zoe.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Matthew's name to either the Joliet Area Community Hospice or the Illinois Spina Bifida Association Funeral Arrangements under the care and coordination of the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home.
