She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joseph Salvador (Mary), Pierina Pucci (Rino) and Egidio Salvador. She is survived by: her husband Robert F. Thomas; her children, Elizabeth Poffenbarger (Tim), Karen McEvilly (Tom), Christine Morris (Cary), Pati Mardegan (Gene), Brenda Leibfritz (Dave), David Oltendorf and Joyce Oltendorf (Jeff); and her brother-in-law John Thomas (Phyllis). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , Make-A-Wish Foundation , or Special Olympics , would be appreciated.
