He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Sheppard; his son Arthur "Skip" Mutchler; and his parents, Floyd Sheppard and Josephine Sheppard. He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Sheppard and Mary Nai; his cousin Elaine Smith; his children, Vicki LaBrecque (Mark), Lori Longieliere, Jyme Sue McLaren (Mark), Rosemarie "Terry" Mutchler (Myke), Jeri Lynn Mutchler and Terry Tait (Hope); his grandchildren, Marcus LaBrecque, Ian LaBrecque, Matthew Mutchler, Daniel Bene (Toni), Matthew Longieliere, Brianna Longieliere and Katie Angelini; and his friends, Donny Watts, Jerry, Meredith "Merry" Lankford, Louie and Bernice Vargas. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
