He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie McGee and George McGee; his wife Joyce; his sons, Ernest and Larri; his grandchildren, Amaree, Anthony, Riasia, Jadaiya and Khadari; and his siblings, Marie McBride, Hattie McGee-Burks and James McGee.
He is survived by: his children, Kendall (Jewel), Robyn (Joan), Clifton, Katrina, Vinita (Vince), Omar (Michelle), Tia and April (Lorenzo); his grandson Javonte Craig; his niece Ann McBride; his nephew Samuel McGuaghy Jr.; and his friend Clara Miller. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
