Catherine M. Ridgway Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine M. Ridgway of Shorewood, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius "Neil" and Dorothy Murray (Redmond); her sister Rosetta Slavin; and her brother-in-law Michael D. Coffey, MD. She is survived by: her husband John A. Ridgway of Shorewood; her sons, Daniel Ridgway (Tracy) of St. Charles, Kenneth Ridgway of Homewood and Thomas Ridgway of New Lenox; her grandchildren, Jack, Callan, Cole, Jake and Andrea; her sister Ann Therese Coffey of South Carolina; and her brother-in-law Thomas Slavin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Face masks and social distancing will be required. Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
