She was predeceased by: her parents, John Houser and Helen Houser; her sons, Michael Marvick (Tracy) and Gerald "Jay" Marvick; and her brother Lawrence Douglas Houser.
She is survived by: her husband Richard F. Talaga, Sr.; her children, Sheri Kerns (Daniel), Jennifer Talaga (Howard) and Richard Talaga, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Olivia Marvick; her grandchildren, Isabella, Beck, Ethan Marvick, Alysa Phipps, Kayla Hines, Brett Kreuger, Milenko Vuckovich, Alexis Vuckovich, Nicole Kastner, Dominique Talaga, Antonio Talaga, Richard Talaga III, Gabriel Talaga, Michaela Talaga and Autumn Talaga; her great grandchildren, Caleb Phipps, Porter Hines, Erik and Liam Kastner; and her sisters, Mary Helen "Snookie" Ullrich (late Duane), Melody Payne (late Gene) and Donna Butler (David). She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
