He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Marie Matthews; and his sister Sandra Matthews. He is survived by: his children, Johnette Terrell (Ron), Steven Matthews, Tony Matthews (Linda), Debbie Minnick (Heather), Chris Matthews (Kim), Phillip Matthews and Mark Matthews; and his brother Douglas Wayne Linsley. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
