He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Opfer and Erna Opfer (Wollin); his sister Velva; and his brother-in-law Norman Hofmann. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Braden; his children, Melanie Beville (Lawrence) and Nathan; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Jacqueline and Andrew. He is also survived by many cousins, brothers and sisters- in- law, nieces and nephews.
