She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller and Lola Miller (Bolyard); and her siblings, William "Bill" Miller, Richard "Dick" Miller, Mike Miller, Marjorie Nichols and Laura "Dianne" Davis.

She is survived by: her husband Eugene Schaal of Shobonier; her sons, Kevin Schaal (Lori) of University, TX, Tim Schaal (Lori) of St. Charles, MO, Jeffrey Schaal (Kelly) of St. Louis, MO and Joey Schaal (Rachel) of Vandalia; her grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Savannah, Guin, Conner, Hannah, Kennedy, Addalyn, Oliver, Kanon and Emma; and her great grandchildren, Cristian, Novah, Luca and Eva. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
