He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Meseke and Helena L. Meseke (Ehrat); and his brothers, Ervin, Floyd, Norman, Forrest and Raymond.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Meseke; his children, Randy Meseke (Marsha) of Danvers, Debby Frailey (Richard) of Altamont, Susan Braasch (Gary) of Altamont and Marsha LaRocca (Steve) of Springfield; his brothers, Rev. Gilbert Meseke of Indiana and George Meseke of Vandalia; his grandchildren, Jonathan Meseke, Sara Stanek (Justin), Emily Hummel (John), Jennifer Bowles (Zach) and Justine LaRocca; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Hummel, Cameron Hummel, Jillian Hummel, Adam Stanek and Evelyn Stanek. He is also survived by his loving family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Augsburg Cemetery Fund, Lutheran Care Center, St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or the donor's choice.
