He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Wasmuth and Anna L. Wasmuth (Metzger); his son Michael Wasmuth; and his brothers, Donald Wasmuth and Charles Wasmuth.
He is survived by: his children, Susan (Max Reuscher) of Vandalia, Lori (Joe Forehand) of Patoka and Edward "Ollie" Wasmuth (Traci) of Shobonier; his daughter-in-law Vanessa Wasmuth of St. Peter; his grandchildren, Doug Wasmuth (Jill Martin), Carol Ann (Kyle McCollum), Lindsay (Jason Graumenz), Daniel Reuscher (Aubrey), Will Cowger, Brooke (Dakota White) and Wade Cowger; and his great grandchildren, Jarrett, Chloe, Dean, Jenna and Jaclyn.
