He is survived by: his wife Shirley Taylor; his children, Linda Marie, Robert Eugene (Kathy) and Treaopia Shawn; his sister Sarah Simmons; his grandchildren, Lakesha, Princeton Clark, Lamar Taylor and Nathan Mendell; his stepsons, Clinton, Lorenzo, Mark, Jeffrey and Daryl Buford; his nieces, Thelma Smith-West and Debra Wagner; his nephew James Theodore Smith; his cousin Charles Finley (Margie); and his stepgrandchildren, Taylor, Jeffrey Jr., Noah, Malia, Gregory, Clinton Jr., Bryan, Justin and Marcus. He is also survived by nine step great-grandchildren.
