Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joseph Swithin (Shirley, Illinois), born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away, on June 6, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Swithin and Myra Swithin (Bennett); and his siblings, Charles, William, Norman, Robert, Merle Carlson (Larry), Lola Swithin and Betty Willard (Harold).

He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Swithin (Barnes); and his children, Kay Morey, Joe Swithin (Vicki) and Karen Westendorf (Ralph). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
