With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James T. Hashbarger (Shirley, Illinois), born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Hashbarger and James Reginald Hashbarger; his daughter June Elizabeth; his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law Clark Brogan.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Aschenbach; his brother Charles Thomas Hashbarger (Cynthia) of Ventura, CA; his children, Jay Hashbarger (Connie Cavins) of St. Augustine, FL, Joe Hashbarger of Champaign, Jill Rosenbaum (Randy) of Champaign, June Kolesar (Matt) of Woodlands, TX, Jeff Hashbarger (Jill) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Jeanette Hashbarger of Oakland, CA.; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Cora, Jacob, Grace, Rivers and Gabrielle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
