She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis "Tiger" Thompson and Verna Stautz Thompson; and her brother Mike Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Chester Sears of Shirley; her children, Eric Sears of Normal, Angela Smith (Jason) of Rochester and Nicole Higgs (Terry, Jr.) of Heyworth; and her brother Rodger Thompson (Patty) of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by 3 granddaughters and 5 grandsons.
