With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Meyers of Shirland, Illinois, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Meyers and Rena Meyers (Harnish); his siblings, Bobby Meyers (Dorothy), Emery Meyers (Beverly), Billy Meyers, Jeanne Waters (Jeff) and Darline Hysmith (Ray); and his brother-in-law Walter Gothard.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Niven; his children, Leanne Mitchell and Scott Meyers (Sarah); his grandchildren, Maggie Packett (Chris), Ian Mitchell, Anna Mitchell, Justin Meyers and Tessa Meyers; his great grandchild Callum; his sister Gloria Gothard; and his sister-in-law Laura Meyers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
